WebMar 28, 2024 · I can say so far, at this early juncture, that the V-Type has the hallmark sound of a regular priced, vintage voiced Celestion. It is more airy and less bottom heavy than H type speakers and it has a nice bit of chime that I am sure will improve with break in. I am impressed. So far it has won a place in the cab of the Deluxe Tweed clone.

Some people find them stiff (the H magnet is firmer in the lows than the M) and some people find them too revealing in the high end. It's a great speaker for lots of different applications, but as you say, some folk don't like them. Last word: great.
