WebJul 25, 2024 · I started looking because I have many duplicate pictures in Lightroom. When I try to move a picture, i get a notice that the picture already exists in the folder, but it will nto show me the picture. So, I started looking for ways to find duplicate photos. But, what I cound was a ton of Adobe duplicate files, hundreds of them. WebAdobe Lightroom doesn’t have a built-in tool to locate duplicates. You can find duplicates with a plug-in called Duplicate Finder. The plug-in scours the library for duplicate files. And it creates a Collection of those images. You can decide what to do with those files. The plug-in also uses EXIF data to categorize them.
