Today, we built.on this learning by comparing and ordering fractions with the same/related denominators. Miss Alexander's group took this learning outside today, completing a treasure hunt using bar models to support us. We also used the windows as a lightbox to trace the photo – similar to how Quentin Blake creates his pictures! After practising the technique of hatching and cross hatching, they used this technique to add tone to their drawings.
