WebAug 8, 2013 · Remove the screws and cover carefully noting the spring placement and direction. Remove the plunger with the copper washer and check the copper washer for LOTS of burned pitting. If it is bad, turn the copper washer over and reassemble. Connect battery last and test. If it still clicks, remove the starter and bench test. WebTo effect the change, press the right-turn signal button once. Once you release your hand from the button, the new digit will replace the old digit in the odometer. Repeat steps 6 and 7 until all the new 5 digits are inserted to replace the old PIN on the security system. Turn off the ignition key to complete the RESET.
