The simplest option is to prefix the stty statement with a conditional so that it is only executed in an interactive shell. WebOct 26, 2011 · What you have to do is to change your /etc/fstab file for the root volume to add the 'acl' option. This activates ACLs on the filesystem. To then activate ACLs either remount the root volume (mount -o remount,acl /) , or reboot the system (as the acl option is now in the options field for the root volume).
