The substances that we measure are called AFP, hCG, estriol, and inhibin A. WebbInhibin B is one of the beta subunits of the dimeric protein inhibin, and like AMH, it is produced by pre-antral and early antral follicles. Inhibin B values vary during a woman’s reproductive lifetime and menstrual cycle. In addition, changes in inhibin B levels that occur with reproductive aging are similar to those of FSH and AMH.
