WebJun 4, 2024 · RS3 and OSRS are both dying, OSRS will go further as it has sentimental value for a large portion of people who have played the game the last 20 years. Again, RS3 can live on MTX but OSRS can't. Like all the 9 bazillion "dying" games, as long as the developers monetize enough without members, they can keep "dying" but never get shutdown.
