In most cases there will be two of them, accessory.cache and groups.cache. These files can become corrupted from regular gameplay and prevent your game from booting. I would like to add my response here. I have the "The Sims Complete Collection" which has all the expansion packs including the Deluxe Edition. I have it installed in Windows 10 Pro.
