Like was said earlier have the slip on cut so the yoke only extends out about 3/4" and the slip on portion goes in as far as possible and not bind on suspension travel. Have the suspension supported when the measurements are made.

But here the problem.... as now, i have a yoke thats WAY too big to fit inside my ('Glide) trans's tail, let alone fit on the output shaft!! The Glide does have a Turbo shaft tough.
